Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. They do not affect your statutory rights. Using this site indicates your acceptance of these terms.

These terms may change at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site, date below. You will be required to read and accept these terms and conditions prior to confirming your order, we advise you read the terms each time you place an order to ensure you are aware of any changes.

ORDER POLICY

Typographical and input errors are correctable up until you submit your order. Once your order has been submitted you will be issued with an order confirmation, which will confirm your order details and reference number, by email, this process is irrespective of weather your order was placed on-line or by telephone. Please be aware this confirmation does not constitute order acceptance. Order acceptance and the formation of a legally binding contract between yourself and Blue Ocean Interiors will only occur upon dispatch of your goods.

We will inform you if your payment can not be authorised or if your order has been declined, in these cases it maybe suggested that you visit our store to complete your transaction.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

All prices quoted are in pounds sterling and include VAT but exclude delivery and/or installation charges. Delivery charges will be shown clearly in the shopping basket prior to your submitting your order, however the following postcodes  PH, PA, IV, KW, AB, DD, KY, BH, DT, EX, PL, TR, TQ, CT, CF, LD, LL and NR do carry a surcharge which will be notified to you by email within 2 working days of our receiving your order, you can then choose to either accept and pay the surcharge or cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable we will offer an alternative or full refund.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained within this site, occasionally an error could occur. If an error is discovered in the price or description of an item you have ordered, you will be contacted immediately and given the choice of weather to continue or cancel your order.

Payment is due on submitting your order.

Please note that we will accept payment only from UK registered payment cards, orders made with a non UK registered payment card will be refunded, we will not accept any liability for changes in exchange rate or bank/ payment provider charges should this occur.

DELIVERY, RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

Generally where an order contains more that one item, all items will be delivered at the same time once all items are available.  Deliveries are made on weekdays only, we do not currently deliver on weekends.  All lead time quoted are approximate and dependent on stock and location.

Delivery can only be made to a mainland Great Britain address.  Please ensure there is adequate unrestricted parking and unloading facilities for our vehicles, our drivers are instructed not to park on double yellow lines or in any other restricted areas, in this case the delivery will fail and a charge will be levied for this. Our delivery company uses vehicles, 7.5ton and luton vans, please ensure there is adequate access for the vehicle which is not restricted by low bridges or narrow lanes.

All delivery lead times shown on this web site are estimated and cover working days only.

You will be contacted by telephone or email to confirm your delivery date, once a delivery date has been agreed you must be present on this date to take delivery. If for any reason you become unavailable to take delivery please contact our customer service department as soon as possible, in any case no later than 2 working days in advance, other wise we reserve the right to levy a second delivery charge to cover the cost of the failed delivery.

It is your responsibility to ensure the item(s) you have ordered will pass through all access points in your home. Once delivery has been made to your door you will be responsible for them. You must inspect your goods and make a note on the delivery document if there are any shortages or damages. If you have not received all of your order or an item is damaged and have noted this on the delivery document it is then your responsibility to inform us within 7 days for shortages or 48 hours for damages, from delivery. We will not accept responsibility for goods reported as missing or damaged if the delivery document has been signed by yourself and no note has been made. A replacement item would normally take as long to deliver as a new order.

If you are reporting goods as delivered damaged, digital images of the damage will be required.  We are unable to process any damage claims without images.  Goods to be returned must be fully packaged prior to collection, our drivers are unable to collect any item which is not packaged, and in new and unused condition.

You may cancel your order at any time between the placement of the order and 14 days from the day after delivery.  We offer a money back guarantee. To receive a full refund you must return the goods with original packaging in as new and unused condition.  We can also arrange for a collection service, the charge for collection is dependent on cm3 of the products, however the minimum charge is 75, except for postcode areas PH, PA, IV, KW, AB, DD, DG, EH, G, FK, KA, ML, TD and KY, the collection price for these ares is available on request. Should you wish to return your goods for any reason, you must contact our customer service department in writing within 14 days of delivery. Any money which you have paid will be refunded within 30 days. A full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and will only be authorised after a full inspection of the goods by ourselves. Any items returned that do not conform to these conditions will be subject to a surcharge or will be returned to you at your expense.  Mattresses that have been opened can not be returned.

Any special order or made to measure items that are returned for any reason will be charged at 75% of the order value.

We will endeavour to meet any date agreed for delivery, however we will not accept liability for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivery of the goods.

TITLE AND RISK

Delivery will only be made to the address as stated in your original order and they will not be left without a signature.

Title of the product will pass to you once you have received the goods and we have received full and cleared payment.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

All product information which includes images and dimensions have been obtained by the product manufacturers. We endeavour to ensure all information is as up to date and accurate as possible, however, on occasions an error can occur and we suggest that you visit the manufacturers web site for full detailed specification. All accessories supplied with a product are subject to change or upgrade at the manufacturers discretion. We will supply the product as supplied to us by the manufacturer.  Unless otherwise stated bed frames do not include mattresses.  Images are for illustration purposes only.

GENERAL

These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions only cover Blue Ocean Interiors website. Any other sites linked to ours are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
